China's newsprint output reached 403 thousand metric tons in April, down 7.7% on year, the National Bureau of Statistics said, as Dow Jones informed Lesprom Network.
Total production during January-April fell 10% to 1.48 million tons.
Paper and paper board production in April rose 4.4% on year to 7.57 million tons. January-April paper and paper board output rose 2.1% on year to 26.74 million tons.
The bureau's statistics showed plywood output in April reached 10.22 million cubic meters, up 9.8% on year.
Production during January-April reached 34.79 million cubic meters, up 8.8% on year. |
