The key components for the new decor paper machine PM 13 at Shandong Qifeng Specialty Paper Ltd in Zhutai Town, Zibo City, China, will be supplied by Voith Paper, as the company reported Lesprom Network.
Qifeng Specialty Paper is one of the largest decor paper producers in China. With 10 paper machines currently running, the company supplies decor paper to the Chinese market. In 2009, the company was commended by the government as one of only four excellent enterprises in the paper industry in Shandong province together with Huatai Paper, Chenming Paper and Sun Paper.
The growth plans of Qifeng Specialty Paper envision several new machines over the next years.
Mr. Li Xuefeng, chairman of the Board of Management and proprietor, emphasized: "We are proud of our development in the recent years and our opportunities to now invest in an anticyclic way. By the investment in Voith Paper components, we decided in favor of the best supplier on the market with the objective of producing the best quality of decor paper."
The planned PM 13 at the Zhutai location, with a wire width of 3,200 mm and a production speed of 500 m/min, will be equipped by Voith Paper with the key components MasterJet F/B with ModuleJet and 2x2 EcoSoft calenders. It will produce high-quality decor paper in the basis weight range from 50 - 90 g/m². The MasterJet F/B headbox ensures best formation by optimum flow conditions, and the best basis weight cross-profiles due to the ModuleJet system with Profilmatic.
The EcoSoft calender is equipped with two oil-heated Flexitherm rolls in the upper position, as well as two Econip rolls with Vantis cover. The calender will meet the high demands to surface finishing of the decor paper based on a max. linear load of 250 N/mm, as well as a surface temperature of up to 200 °C.
The outstanding position of Voith Paper in the area of decor paper in Europe with all well-known decor paper producers, as well as the previous successful delivery to an important competitor of Qifeng Specialty Paper in China were decisive for the contract award to Voith. |
